MMT---A New Gateway
Myanmar is located in Southeast Asia, neighboring with India and Bangladesh in northwest and close to Andaman sea in southwest, sharing border line with China in the northeast, Thailand and Laos on the country’s southeast. The country has already turned into a year round destination no matter to international Business activities or sightseeing in recent two years. Biennial MMT is organized in Yangon that city is fulfilled with religion and political feature. It is an excellent experience to us to discover the country’s civilization and brand new business environment, the buddist country with mystery mask is finally unveiled.
On the 14th Jan, 2013, Bejing Ann’s International Exhibition’s delegation is arrived in Yangon international airport, on the way to Hotel we realize the country’s fundamental is same as 70 or 80’s of China. The building of Myanmar is not all golden and shinning as our imagine, however local people honesty and natural make us fell Myanmar’s hospitality and welcome. As the center of politic, economic and culture, the city’s fresh air and soft breeze make you fell comfortable.
We head into Tatmadaw hall after unpack. The exhibition hall is about 3000 Sqm. All the build up material is shipped from Cambodia and Vietnam due to the country is lack of construction resource. As Chinese pump and valve’s flagship, Zhejiang Leo’s special design booth is under processing, the company spent great amount of capital to help Myanmar’s agent to propaganda. Myanmar has great potential to most of Chinese exhibitors. There are Japan Pavillion, Singapore Pavillion, South Korea Pavillion, India Pavillion, Chinese Taiwan Pavillion, Germany Pavillion, Italy Pavillion and China Pavillion. Although the trade show is organized in first time, it has already beyond our expectation. Hence, we can see the determination of local government support. Chinese pavilion’s feature design make Chinese exhibitors more comfortable.
After opening ceremony, there were plenty of visitors came to inquiry, quotation or negotiation. Every exhibitors have the chance to talk with visitors, buyers or potential clients. The most remarkable thing is most of local buyers are sincere and fully prepared and they visit Chinese exhibitors over and over again to negotiate cooperation details with their translators.Pump, Valve, water treatment, welding, power generator, forging industry is drawing more attention to local visitors. The mayor of Yangon and minister of industry also visited the show, who really enjoy Shanghai GSD’s products and consider to procure the products. Most of exhibitors are satisfied the show and also looking forward to the next round.
