ECOWATECH 2014

       Russia once the world superpower, the impression from the history textbook was his developed military power and heavy industry with the largest land area and the most abundant natural resources in geography. Honor to have the opportunity to visit the capital --Moscow. ECOWATECH gave me this opportunity. Our group of most 10 persons departed from Beijing for Russia in May 31, 2014.
The initial impression of Moscow:
      Before leaving, the weather forecast said Moscow ten degrees, much colder than Beijing recently, so everyone to bring enough warm clothes. But fortunately, we met Moscow rare hot sunny weather. Moscow is the largest city in Europe, 1/7 of the population lived in Russia. Compared with skyscrapers in Western European, Moscow seems quaint. Many building are the Stalin style architecture, built in fifty or sixty in the Soviet Union, very dignified, tall and vigorous. Moscow has nearly 4000000 private vehicles, which makes it become one of the most crowded city in the world. Of course, Russian women must be mentioned, the beauty long leg. Walking in the street . And what let us envy is: the Russian government offer housing and perfect almost free health care .
Introduction tour and Exhibition:
      In May 31st, we arrived in Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. The tour guide offered us free sim card, we charge 100 rupees (equivalent to 20 yuan) for telephone fee. Telephone charges are quite cheap, for international long distance only 1 ruble a minute.
      In June 1st, we visited the Russian Revolution Bethel -- visit Red Square in Moscow, Religious and political core -- Moscow Kremlin solemn Tomb of the unknown soldier, Neat and beautiful garden of Alexander. The Arbat street, with full of artistic atmosphere is also Pushkin's former residence. Russian is one of the famous Russian arts and crafts. When you walked into a store selling doll, you would feel in a fairy tale world. Afternoon went to the famous great -- Moscow State University. The whole day tour made all tiered and satisfied.

      In June 2nd, our exhibition period, as the working day is today, in order to avoid the rush hour, we leave half an hour late than planned, traffic is very smooth. We successfully obtain exhibitor pass and find the booth, we began to putting posters, placing the sample. Because everybody is standard booth, 1 pm we completed tall the work successfully. There is a supermarket nearby, so we went to shop after the work.. Russia's characteristics: vodka wine, delicious sweet chocolate, durable hardware tools.
      June 3 - 6 days, the important issue of our trip, the exhibition of the day. Unlike the first day, we worn former suite to enter the working state. The first day of the exhibition, most of visitors came afternoon. The second day is the most productive day. The rest twp days are less than the first two days. But our exhibitors collected many potential clients, as all are satisfied. A tips is to participate the Russian expo a interpreter are necessary, as most of the Russian can not speak English with personality of outer cold inside warm, even if the product in interest if the language barrier, they will turn away. 

      ECOWATECH 2014, as the highest and most professional water treatment industry event in the entire Eastern European country, is held in Moscow Every two years. The exhibition is divided into 4 exhibition halls with different size, with an exhibition area of more than 20000 square meters. A total of 41 China exhibitors participated, products include: valve pump, pipeline water treatment, reagent filtration membrane, the tap water processing and relative products of the industry chain. China enterprises were mainly concentrated in the 7 exhibition hall 8.The two exhibition halls are the largest. At Third days of the exhibition, a Shenzhen company general manager Wu called upon all bosses of the Chinese company together to discuss after the exhibition work: through this exhibition we agreed that the Russian market is large, but due to various aspects of language and other reasons, we hope to work together to open offices in Moscow. To consolidate the effects of the exhibition and do the follow-up work. Zhejiang doyin pump, Nanfang Pump Industry are special building stands, are also actively seek the front booth for next year show. The exhibitors who plan to participate the next year show have to book the stand in advance to get better position as its biannual show. There is also outdoor co-exhibition manufacture show to collect many professional visitors. So during the exhibition hall, the surrounding traffic is really terrible..

Restaurant and hotel:
      It’s said that the Moscow public security is not too good, in order to provide a safe environment for our exhibitors, we choose the international hotel chain, free WIFI network for modern young people chatting via WECHAT. The breakfast is also very rich. There are many the Chinese Restaurant in Moscow, more interesting is the restaurant name:"the Yellow River", "the Yangtze River", "the store full of Happyness" etc. We make fun of our meal to eat up a river every day. Of course, since it came to Moscow, the taste of authentic Russian meal is A must. June 3rd is an old customer of our birthday of Ms Deng from Shanghai, we prepared for her birthday cake, red wine, which also make our client felt our service warm and considerate

Currency and language:
      Rupee is the currency of Russia. There are many place where can exchange USD to Rupee, such as airport, bank and exchange stations. The exchange rate is 100RMB to 500Rupee. But the consumption level in Moscow is not low, a simply Russian boll is 1or 2 thansand yuan, the daily necessaries are also multiple higher than China, the average monthly salary is around two thousand USD. The Russia speak poor English, as they all think their language best
The customs and the time difference:
      Persons who are ready to go to Russia especially to participating exhibitions will be warned: Russian customs to tip. Because the transportation of exhibits is costly and time-consuming via customs, so many exhibitors prefer to carry the exhibits by their self, which become a good reason for Russian customs to ask tip for smooth passing without declare and taxation. Our exhibitors are not the first time to participate the Russian expo, and all ready well, but fortunately, not any obstacle to passing the customs. but we heard from other exhibitors who were asked tip by customs.
      There are 4 hours jet lag, June is Russia's day period. More than 12 hours a day. Sun will not set until 10 pm in the evening. Which is a little challenge to get used it.
In short：
      Seven days tours, fast and slow, the 7 days torment by jet lag at first two days, then busy work hour make us not time to relax. Everyone felt satisfied and happy. Everyone feel the time passing so fast. Everyone think meeting at the next event.
