Exhibiting in Egypt, travelling in Egypt

We have been an agent of Agrena for many years, and this time we can finally be the sole agent of this Show. I couldn’t be more happy. The orginizer designed Fasicial Board for all our chinese clients with National Flag, and very large and high Board. More important, they also provide us an free booth which we can feel so diligently and also the determination they are willing to corporate with us. And all of these make us more and more happy. It’s my pleasure to lead the group with my collague to take care of the clients and talk the new year corporations as well.

1.Flight:
This time’s flight is go straight from Beijing to Cairo. Although it tooks almost ten hours, it still be good choice relative to transfer. The clients are all near to Beijing, so we all get to Beijing and then fly to Cairo. It is wonderful to know that Egyptian aviation allow to take two baggage. As it is wonderful for most of clients to take brochure and so on.

2.Hotel:
We are staying in the hotel just the same Mena House Oberoi as last year. All of the clients are very satisfied with the hotel, as we can see the Khufu Pyramid through the hotel. Every morning we go to the breakfast, we can see the Pyramid, which can make the mood become so happy, despite from the so hot weather there. The buffet in the hotel are so delicious. Although there is no noodles, there are eggsm rice and most importantly the Yogurt and fruit, which can keep good nutrition for the whole day. There are lots of activities in the evening of the hotel, most of which are weddings. Although it is tired when we come back to the hotel, lots of the clients still went to the wedding site to see those people singing, laughing and dancing, to feel the delight. And it seems the whole tired day has been gone through this happy moment.

3. Travlling:
Our group is arriving on the morning of May 26th. And after we put all the baggage to the hotel, we went to “place-must-go-in-Egpyt”, which is Pyramid. Khufu Pyramid is 140 meter high, although we have already overlook it in the hotel, when we finally get so close, we still be shocked by the wisdom and skill of Egyptians. Millions of the stones carry one by one to make such a great wonder. Pyramid, I have to say just like the Great Wall in China. Then we went to Khafra Pyramid and Sphinx. Khafra is the son of Khufu. Khafra Pyramid also known as Pyramid in the hat. Because the top smooth surface which is never rotten just like a hat on the Pyramid. For me the most favorite part is certainly Sphinx, although the nose has been a little rotten, other part is still keep the whole original feature. When I get closer to face a little bleaker feature in stone, I suddenly feel that its eye looking forward is so cool, ignore everthing. I can feel the tininess of myself. And then we went to Egyptian Museum. I prefer to call it a live history class intead of museum. Listening to the introduction by the guide, we all feel how extraordinary the Egyptian are. The most impreesed should be the jewelry they made by hand, some may be too wide, but most of design is still very popular in nowadays.
The night when the Expo has finally finished, we went to pleasure-boat on the Nile. We can hear the wonderful songs, beautiful belly dancer and skilled dancer. I can not help join in them to dance for our exhibitors to thanks to their support and accompany in the past years.
The second day, we got up early to go to Alexandria, one of the coastal city in Egpyt. The journey took us almost three hours, but Alexandria definitely worth us to spent nearly six hours on road to enjoy the beauty of Mediterranean. The first place we arrive is Buddhist pagoda, also known as summer palace, which is the place where Alexandar avoid summer heat. Then we go through the road to a series villanette to view the wonderful seascape, the bule sky, the white cloud and the sea together, how wonderful the sea is! Then we went to lighthouse site. The beauty of the lighthouse and the colorful boat on the sea are kind of suitable. That meal on the noon that day is what we dream so long, seafood. The garrupa, the clam, the prawn and so on has just showed in front of us, which I should say definitely recommended. That afternoon, we went to Greece site. It seems we have not been in Greece but we already in. that is our last journey in Egypt. After that, we take on the airport to go back to our haze but sweet home.

4. The Show:
This show is held in CICC Cairo Egypt. I should say Egyptians is the most slowest people I ever see. We went to the Venue at two o’clock the build-up afternoon. But everthing we saw is still fitting, almost empty. Even on the first day of the show, there is still most of information missing, some lessing fasicial board, some light not open, the table and chair is almost nothing. With such ungelivable constructor, we can still find enthusiastic Egyptians coming a lot. They come almost the opening time and there are lots of people around the reception desk since then. They all took their whole family with them, so we can see lots of teenagers even babies and also lots of picture taker, who came to take picture with our beauties on each booth. You may think that it is not very professional, but there are lots of specific operations. Almost every clients find their own potential clients or sign the order more or less. The girl in Jienuo sign a one million order unexpectly. I have to say the Egyptians’ profession is just permeate in the leisure. This time the orginizer dine the chinese clients and ask me to decide the menu for our clients, and I can feel so deeply impressed that the orginizer to us, especially to our clients. We drive to a restaurant whose shape like a boat on the Nile. We enjoy the view of the Nile, how pleasure it is! Ms Dong from Ruiyi represents the whole chinese cleints come with us to express the thanks to the orginizer to thanks to the support for our company and all the chinese clients. Later, I talked about the problem occared this time, and the orginizer promise this will happen only this time, so the clients who join in the next year should be ok.

5. Service and support:
This journey we have nearly 20 exhibitors, which makes two of us feel so pressed. But we all try our best, maybe the clients can not one percent satisfied but we try one percent effort to let everyone satisfied. We also prepared candy and paper cup for clients. In case of inconvient for the local food, we also prepared some preserved szechuan pickle. Before leaving, we hold a small meeting to introduce local situation and change boarding pass for all the clients. Although the construction is very slow, two of us help tp urge the workers, try to serve every clients well. Before saying goodbye to every cleints, Ms Dong give us a little gift to express their thanks to our help for all these days. And I also received the text from the orginizer. All of these makes me feel worth for all the effort we do.

Tips:
As Egyptians use Arabic, it is better to hire a interpretor knowing Chinese, English and Arabic as well. Which can make the exhibiting more efficiancy.
The local life in Egypt is very slow, no matter build-up or other situation, hope you can give them more patient.
But the most fast people should be driver in Egypt. I think the drive in Egypt can go to any place in the world to drive, and the skill should be great. If you want to drive in Egypt, you must be very careful, as the Egyptians may go across the road any time they wish.
For diet, the sauce should be a test. But most of time, we eat chinese food, as the Egypt’s meal has so much meat, even people like me who loves meat so much can not handle.
